Blog Radio Interviews

Posted by Carolyn Zahnow on June 19, 2010 at 4:19 PM

I have done several radio interviews now with very caring women. I have posted all the ones I have links for online now so please take some time and listen to one or two - especially if you have not heard me speak. (link at top "Radio Interviews")

The conversations take different turns and twists and they are always a pleasure to do. I feel like I'm talking to old friends so far. Most are on blog radio, but one has been live on a Colorado station. I have not noticed an increase in book sales but that's okay as I'm also concerned about saving our teens. And maybe make some parents stop and listen to ways that might help their teen from ending their life such as Cameron did.

It seems I'm pleading parents to avoid divorce at all costs as kids hate change. They can barely tolerate their parents separating. Too often they have to move away from what's familar to them and learn a "new everything." New school, new friends, a new parent sometimes.

I also ask parents to reconnect with their teens. Have dinner at the dining room table. You don't have to cook the meal, take your fast food to the table though so a conversation might occur. Sit on their bed at night when it's lights out time. Take a long drive with them - just the two of you. Talk!

Hope you will listen to my interviews so I know my time is not being wasted. Let me know and the host what you thought of the interview.

Thanks and take care of those teens - they need your continued guidance!
