Written by Carolyn C. Zahnow after the loss of her son to suicide. Part research/part memoir, Save the Teens teaches parents, teachers, and mentors of teens (and teens themselves) how to spot the early signs of depression and substance abuse.

The author adds her personal experience with her son, Cameron, in an effort to illustrate some characteristics of drug use and depression. As Cameron was a brilliant writer, graphic designer, and artist – examples of these are sprinkled throughout the book.
